Santa Rosa Ninety-Nines

The Santa Rosa Ninety-Nines is a non-profit organization that promotes aerospace education, provides aviation scholarships and preserves the history of women in aviation. The group provides financial assistance to women pilots as they pursue advanced ratings toward careers in aviation.
On June 11 the Santa Rosa Ninety-Nines awarded scholarships to three pilots. Sue Ballew received $3,000. Maria D’Amato and Kelly O’Dea each received $1,000 scholarships.
Since 1980 the Ninety-Nines have awarded 33 scholarships for $55,000.
