The Healdsburg/Geyserville Area Grants Program is accepting applications for its 2012/2013 grants cycle. The deadline is Aug. 13.
Nonprofits in the greater Healdsburg area, including Geyserville, Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley and parts of Russian River Valley (USPS Zip Codes 95448 and 95441) are invited to apply.

Type of Grants: Grant requests may be for either program support or general operating expenses. A general operating grant is intended to support a nonprofit organization’s mission; these funds may be used to cover an array of expenses, from program costs and salaries to administration, office expenses, technology, training, fundraising and marketing.
Areas Eligible for Funding: Health and Human Services; Youth Education and Development; The Arts; The Environment.
Value of Grants: Our usual grant range is $2,000 to $10,000, with most grants falling below $7,500. Organizations will be notified about the status of their application on or about Friday, December 7, 2012. Funds will be distributed in 2013.
