The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa West is planning its largest fundraiser of the year; the 30th year for its annual crab feed, one of the oldest events in Sonoma County. So far the club has raised over $1,000,000 at these events, proceeds all have gone to the local community to help those in need.
This year, on Jan. 26, 2013 the theme will be “Year of the Crab,” featuring homemade dim sum served as appetizers, along with all-you-can-eat fresh crab, salad, bread and wine. For those who are vegetarians, lasagna will also be served.
The crab feed will be held at the Friedman Center, 4676 Mayette Ave. in Santa Rosa on Jan. 26, 2013 from 5:30 to 11 p.m. There will be a silent and a live auction, an open bar and music for dancing.
All proceeds will be donated to various nonprofit agencies to help the less fortunate in the community. Ticket sales have already started — there will be a limited number of tickets for sale at $75 each.
