Local schools need volunteers to become reading aides for an hour a week. There are 72 students now in need of tutors from Schools of Hope. Orientations will take place from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Jan. 11 and 16. Contact Gretchen Werner at 573-3399, ext. 121, or GWerner@volunteernow.org to volunteer.
