Project Safe mentors needed

Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County needs adults to mentor fourth-through eighth-grade students in Santa Rosa as part of its Project Safe Mentoring Program. Volunteers  commit one hour a week for a year. Additional group outings and events are offered throughout the school year and into the summer months. Help parents with child care

COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP Community Action Partnership has opportunities for volunteers to have fun with children while their mothers and fathers take parenting classes. The first set of meetings will be held at 1300 N. Dutton Avenue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays through March 4. The second set will be evenings from 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 1, 8, 22, and March 1. Call Hazel at 544-6491 X1015 or e-mail hwhiteoak@capsonoma.org

Work the phones

COMMUNITY ACTION Community Action Partnership is looking for a volunteer to work at 1300 N. Dutton Avenue, Santa Rosa, starting in January. This volunteer will phone landlords/property managers and confirm that tenants who were funded by HCA Program for Homeless Prevention are still in their units.
